Activities’ results of 2010 and next year’s ambitious plans became issues of annual Minsk office employee’s meeting, which took place on 26th of February.
Past year became quite difficult for company’s business – that is what heads of nearly all departments were talking about. Nevertheless post-crisis effects, repeated abrupt growth of freight rates, complex political conditions of international carriages’ market didn’t disturb the company’s development but became a possibility for TELS staff to show its best professional and human qualities.
As result in 2010 TELS acquired 7 398 new customers. Annual turnover wasn’t just increased but it surpassed considerably turnover of 2008 pre-crisis year.
Past year was marked not only by growth of key indicators but also by increase of service types, by designing of new company’s development directions. In 2010 air carriages department has been created in Minsk office. Now TELS is able to organize door-to-door air transportations of cargoes all over the world. The Board of multimodal carriages united efforts of multimodal departments of Minsk and Moscow offices. This year Board is going to extend TELS presence at Russian market of multimodal carriages. Whole vessel with capacity of 750 tons was freighted in December 2010 by TELS department.
In 2010 TELS successfully passed an audit of quality management system compliance with ISO 9001-2008 standard and ecological management system with ISO 14001-2004 standard. But the key criterion, TELS is orientated to, is client’s satisfaction. That’s why was chosen the following 2011 company’s motto: “Let’s enhance circle of satisfied clients!”
There wasn’t only announcement of indicators on the meeting but also words of gratitude were said to employees. Their professionalism and devotion to corporate values are company’s success guaranty.
