In addition to the aforesaid, TELS quality management system is aimed at:

TELS strives to develop and improve the existing management system and make sure it meets the highest quality management standards for international services.
Introducing TELS quality management system
The quality management system at TELS has been implemented since its compliance with the international certificate ISO 9001-2000requirements was confirmed.
TELS was first certified with ISO 9001-2000 in 2005 by TEST – St. Petersburg company, a representative of IQNet international certification network. We confirm this compliance with international standards by passing annual auditing procedures.
The quality management department was founded in June, 2007. The department is responsible for quality management system maintaining and its ongoing improvement as well as for other management systems based on the ISO standards establishing and introduction.
TELS introduced the ecological management system during 2007-2008. This system meets ISO 14001-2004 international certificate requirements. The ecological management system determines the most significant aspects of quality management.
In September 2008 TELS confirmed the compliance of its integrated management system with the requirements of ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 in the course of certification audit carried out by the Certification Association «Russkij Registr», a partner of IQNet International network.
In September 2010 all TELS departments were certified as compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
In September 2011 the inspection audit carried out at TELS confirmed the compliance of the company’s management system with the ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
In October 2008 TELS passed the SQAS-assessment for compliance with the European Chemical Council’s (CEFIC) requirements for freight forwarding. Assessment was carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification, which had been accredited by CEFIC to evaluate forwarding companies. The Bureau examined such parameters as service quality, environmental protection, labour protection and cargo transportation security. The final assessment report is available in the CEFIC database for companies-members of the European Chemical Council.
In 2010 TELS was granted with the Exxon Mobil certificate. Exxon Mobil is the world’s biggest oil company that applies much tougher requirements to its logistic partners than those by ISO.
In 2017 the company was certified according to the new international standard ISO 9001: 2015. TELS Group has developed, implemented and maintains a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015.

Since the company was founded, TELS management has been showcasing not only its responsibility for the service quality, but also the responsibility for the impact of its activities on the environment and society.
The ecological management system, based on the requirements of ISO 14001-2004, is the next step towards TELS management system development, which is based on ISO 9001-2000 (ISO 9001-2008 since September 2008) standards.
In 2017 was certified according to the new international standard ISO 14001:2015.
The ecological management system within TELS Group of Companies proves that the company strives to deliver its services in line with corporate responsibility, sustainable development and environmental protection.
TELS has the following key goals for its environmental protection efforts:
- decreasing the volumes of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, for which we incorporate our own EURO 5 truck fleet and equipped trucks for internal European transportations;
- establishing risk assessment systems and potential cargo transportations emergencies prevention, including dangerous cargo shipment;
- informing our partners about the ecological management system as well as about our requirements towards our contractors;
- increasing the ecological awareness level among TELS employees.
