Introducing TELS quality management system
In September 2008 TELS confirmed the compliance of its integrated management system with the requirements of ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 in the course of certification audit carried out by the Certification Association «Russkij Registr», a partner of IQNet International network.
In September 2010 all TELS departments were certified as compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.In October 2008 TELS passed the SQAS-assessment for compliance with the European Chemical Council’s (CEFIC) requirements for freight forwarding. Assessment was carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification, which had been accredited by CEFIC to evaluate forwarding companies. The Bureau examined such parameters as service quality, environmental protection, labour protection and cargo transportation security. The final assessment report is available in the CEFIC database for companies-members of the European Chemical Council.
In 2017 the company was certified according to the new international standard ISO 9001: 2015. TELS Group has developed, implemented and maintains a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015.
TELS: ecological management system
- decreasing the volumes of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, for which we incorporate our own EURO 5 truck fleet and equipped trucks for internal European transportations;
- establishing risk assessment systems and potential cargo transportations emergencies prevention, including dangerous cargo shipment;
- informing our partners about the ecological management system as well as about our requirements towards our contractors;
- increasing the ecological awareness level among TELS employees.
TELS: Information Security Management Systems
TELS achieved accredited ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) certification on October 17, 2019. The audit was performed by TÜV certification body (Germany).
ISO/IEC 27001 is one of the key and most effective way to protect and manage information. The standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented information security management system within the context of organization’s overall business risks. The Information Security Management System covers all information assets – paper and electronic documents, computers, information systems, networks, personnel storing and processing information.
ISO 27001 certification demonstrates to our business partners and customers that the company has an effective information security management system and that their business information is well protected.

Several cargo ships have lost a large number of containers in recent months in different incidents, reports the Wall Street Journal.
In 2020, the market of transportation and logistics differed greatly from the previous periods. The experience of a logistics operator acting in conditions of economic and political recession gained before was applied only partially last year – the major factor influencing the entire world economy was the COVID-19 pandemic.
We continue to publish the results of the logistics audit in the new conditions. This article will review the capacities of different industries and the changes taking place in crises like the COVID-19 pandemic.
